As a nation, we simply aren't drinking enough water, with the average person consuming just 1.8 litres of water a day. The UK is perpetually dehydrated, with three in four adults reporting that they regularly feel the effects of dehydration. Over a third of us feel dehydrated at least once a week.

of adults drink less than a litre of water each day, or don’t drink any at all, and more women fall in this category than men.

Despite drinking the most water, 18-24-year-olds struggle with dehydration the most - almost one in five (19%) feel dehydrated most days, if not every day.
